EASYSeal Sandstone Sealer & Enhancer - 5 Litre

EASYSeal Sandstone is a professional grade non-solvent enhancer, designed specifically for sandstone, which gives a consistent enriched finish - lifting the vibrant natural colours in natural stone.

EASYSeal Sandstone also provides a good level of protection, providing oil and water repellence to offer resistance to staining.

EASYSeal Sandstone dries in as little as four hours. Full curing takes up to 24 hours - longer in cold conditions.

Based on a single coat, applied at 4-5M2 per litre, a 5 Litre tub of EASYSeal Sandstone covers approximately 20 to 25M2. Coverage can vary dependant on the porosity and texture of the surface and the application method used. More porous sandstones, such as Fossil Mint, will require more product, so coverage per tub will be reduced. Additional coats provide added protection and greater enhancement. This should be applied when the previous coat is still wet and should not exceed three coats. Do not apply additional coats if the previous coat has been allowed to dry out as the sealant may prevent the next coat from absorbing resulting in a patchy finish.

Ideal application conditions would be between 10ºC and 30ºC. Avoid applying during rain or when rain is forecast within 4 hours of application. Do not apply if frosty or when surface and air temperature are below 5ºC.

EASYSeal Sandstone is best applied using a long piled roller. Shake well prior to use. Ensure surfaces are clean and free of any marks, stains, efflorescence and contamination as these will otherwise be permanently sealed in after application. Ensure the surface is completely dry before application and rain is not imminent. Do not pour the product directly on to the surface. Use a long pile roller and try to apply a generous, even coat at a rate of 4-5m2 per litre - removing any excess or runs of product t avoid patchy finishes. Apply an additional coat whilst the sandstone remains damp from the previous coat. (Maximum three coats.)

Once the final coat has been applied, do not walk or drive on the area for four hours. Keep pets away until completely dry. Full curing takes 24 hours - longer in colder conditions.
