Allows the boards to be held in place whilst still allowing room for expansion and contraction. Many competitor products involve drilling a pilot hole then screwing through the board directly in to each batten, however this doesn't allow for any movement which may lead to the boards bending or warping under the strain.
Used as both a starter clip and throughout the install, the Hidden Fixing Clip offers a versatile solution in one.
Simply slot your board in, sit the fixing on top and screw it in to place. Rinse and repeat.
The hidden fasteners are concealed by the cladding boards, out of sight and out of mind. Providing a seamless aesthetic, with no unsightly screw heads spoiling the look.
Because the hidden fixings don't involve screwing in to the board itself, you are able to adjust and reposition the clip if you make a mistake, without potentially having ruined a deck board such as with alternatives that require screwing the board directly in to the battens.
